What is Emotional Freedom Tapping (EFT)

Emotional freedom tapping is a technique that can help with physical pain and emotional issues. It has been referred to as psychological acupressure.

When using this technique, it has been said that it creates a balance within the qi or energy in the body. It has been used to help people with anxiety and PTSD. EFT is still being researched.

EFT uses the fingertips to activate or stimulate energy points within the body. Gary Craig, the fonder of EFT has said that all negative emotions are a disruption in the body’s energy system. EFT works by tapping or stimulating the meridian points to release blockages within the body. Our meridians help balance our energy and maintain our health. Imbalance can cause disease or sickness. Tapping on the meridian points is believed to release the blockage.
